Yesterday night Gil Scott Heron, who just released his new album “I´m new here”, finally performed live on stage in Berlin – and I´m so happy I could be there to see one of my music heroes and enjoy that beautiful concert! I expected a lot and got much more: Amazing music, funny jokes, good vibes and last, but not least also a really nice music support by LADI6 and PARKS from New Zealand.

I don´t know how many of you are already a fan of the music platform soundcloud. If you haven´t heard of it until know, i want to recommed it warmly to you. It is really the easiest and (for me) aesthetically the best way to share and discover new, good, old or whatever music!

The example of the in the meanwhile kinda dead social online community Myspace shows that a platform is always as good as their members are or rather how active they are. Concerning this point soundcloud is just such a pleasure for every music lover. The many talented artists, remixers share excellent tracks or mixes and thanks to the possibility of “following” someone, you don´t lose sight of them!

Here comes a mix of a favourite of mine: playjazzload.

This great artist has a series of eclectic jazzy, housy, soulfull music. I just love, love, love it!!!
