SAMSTAG, 28.01.

CHARITY: MUSCHI KREUZBERG VS. STRASSENFEGER: DU HAST ANGST VORM UBAHNHOF

ONE WARM WINTER

KRASS: DISPO-DISCO, STRIPWALK & VERBOTENE NÄCHSTENLIEBE

Muschi Kreuzberg´s Beschreibung siehe hier:

The eVe in me.. is red

Just came back from my second little trip to london. No need to explain how cool this city is! There´s so much to do and see that you actually never see enough and allways wanna come back to get more of the city´s vibe! In other words you can always find whatever you like…

…sometimes you can even find out what colour the eVe in you has!

One thing I really wanted to do is going to the Tate Modern once again to see this one painting again. I mean I never really got these people who would say something like “standing in front of this abstract expressionistic piece made me feel the pain of human…..”, but honestly last time I was standing in front of this large red painting with that vertical purple zip on the side I was just overwhelmed by the emotional effect it had on me. In the famous words of Walter Benjamin I could feel “the here and now of the art work”, which constitutes its “aura”. And no technical reproduction like a smaller poster would be like this original. So this time I was of course checking the name of this favourite of mine and you already know it. This painting´s title by American painter Barnett Newman is “eve”

Even though it´s sooo not the same to see it on a little screen in a small format, you can check it out here:

And for those who are still reading and who must have enough of red I have  a beautiful musical complementary colour:
