Nothing more true than these words,
a bit modified by….ME…..but with the same deep meaning.
Oh My God you can’t even imaging how much I love to find out about up coming gigs of my favourite artists. and much more to have friends that love it as much as I do.
Some minutes ago it just happened.
TINIE TEMPAH the new revelation in UK, first places in all charts, his hit song ‘Pass Out’ played in all the clubs, danced & loved by everyone. This young guy is consider as the UK #1 grime artist at the moment, and they say he will do great things in this 2010, I just hope it is not gonna be just for this year
as it happened for many others….
This picture has been taken some years ago by James Pearson howes, photographer I am assisting sometimes, and who is a very big inspiration for me.
have a look at the video, and listen and dance to his song if you haven’t yet.
what else can I say
all this to let you know that if you like him, and you are around London next 3rd of April 2010 just jump in KOKO, Camden, and for just £15 you can assist at the performance of this great artist.
I’LL BE THERE FOR SURE WITH MY CAMERA AND SHAKING MY BOOTY
for all of my ‘horny’ girls (don’t be pussy this is the reality and with this spring coming, you cannot deny the spring-ly feelings) here I leave you with a ‘different’ picture of this great artist. But let’s appreciate his music first.
Your crazy V

Hello my sweet white rabbits
how are your lives going on?
Mine perfect as always, even if it is three days that my head is almost blowing up due to very low pressure. It seems Im under water, hope to find Flanders and the Little Mermaid.
Are there aquatic Princes? If yes let me know where and I’ll turn to the other side
Today I am proud to show you the new Video Campaign of DIESEL, in which I had the opportunity to participate, and learn that coreography in just 10 minutes time (it seems easy, but it is not, especially when you try to learn it one hour later than all other (I was in late) and with a bit of ‘resacaaaaa’ – don’t know what it means? Get a spanish-english vocabolary little Kaninchen or check it out in wordreference, but today I feel pretty nice and so I’ll let you know the answer at the end of this post).
In Italy there have been a lot of complainings about the ‘BE STUPID’ campaign, even if in some way I find it really nice and intelligent instead of offensive, cum on, I should be the person to protest having an arrow on me saying ‘STUPID’, I think it is just because people get bored really easly, cum on laugh at it, and somehow it is true, STOP THINKING TOO MUCH and life would be much more easy.
It is not that you have to be a vegetable or a cactus but simply stop thinking too much and JUST ACT.
Do what you feel to do, what you want to do, do not think too much at the ‘later’. Do it and now, and be sure about what you’re doin. You’re the only person that can judge yur acts, anybody else, only you know what is coming and going in your head and only you can know exactly what is right for you and what it is not. Who exactly decided what is the right thing to do and what is not? and Why?
click on this link to see the whole video and listen to the fantastic song
by pointing people with the arrow/hand on the screen you will be able to know who that person is, what he/she does, website, twitter, facebook etc.
and on this link to buy the hit single, ‘Hundred lovers’ by my friend and super talented musician Josep Xorto

many hugs and candies to all my sweet bitches

If I think on how I felt about London just some years ago, it makes me laugh!
I used to hate this place, I didn’t even want to talk or think about it. Everything seemed too posh to me, too cold, to ‘Im-so-much-cooler-than-you’…..and everything now changes so drastically.
London is soooo much my town.
London is giving me what I’ve always been looking for in years. London is giving me HAPPINESS.
‘English people are so cold’ they say, WHAT D.F. ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT? English people just live their lives, and they have so much to do and think about without worring about other people lives, that’s the difference, they just think about their own business.
London people think they are so much cooler than the others…..AND WHAT? If you keep thinking about that, well my friend, just find something to do because maybe you are bored; and another thing…..maybe they are some how! innit?
I love this place so full of meltinpot, different cultures, places, habits, you can never get bored here.
But what is really fascinating me is the music scene!
Especially MY music scene. EVERYWHERE I go there’s some place playing my music, that music that makes me move even if I am tired, that music that makes me smile even if Im sad (it rarely happens to me but…let’s go on with the story), the music that…woooow, makes me!
I am talking about grime, hip hop, dubstep, rap, uk garage, and all that ’stuff’.
Everything in London is turning its attention on it.
Especially east London, Shoreditch, a place known for best indie, rock’n'roll gigs, many super-skinny-tufts-black-hat-guys’ and so many ‘freng-redlipstick-mocassins-or-dcmartens-vintage-girls’ (yeah Im kinda like that, u can laugh if u want, I’d luv ya anyways), now it’s turning ‘black’.
Last night I was in Old Blue Last (http://www.theoldbluelast.com/) just having a pint wiv friends and chilling after a hard working day, and I read in a poster LADY CHANN, I couldn’t believe that, LADY CHANN was having a performance here in Old Blue Last, the New Queen of London Dance Hall, and the night it’s called ‘FREE TIN’. It sounds the pefect friday night for me, Verena’s night, let’s get ready with my fancy dancing shoes and get da dancefloor on fire babies
Well, all this randomly speaking just to let you know that
1) Old Blue Last is still a good place where to go, see good people, perceive good vibes, and have the opportnity and plasure to se you fav artists, one meter from you in a very intimate situation.
(Last time I went to see the DUM DUM GIRLS, so see I got advice for every kind of music lovers)
But let’s step back again and keep speaking about my new London queen LADY CHANN.
She’s got balls man, she’s one of those girls who rules on the stage.
Make way for the UK’s number one Dancehall Queen. Chanelle Williams, aka Lady Chann, has been part of North West London’s vibrant Suncycle crew since it’s conception, and now she’s branching out alone, and bringing her unique talent to a wider audience.
Well schooled in reggae music from an early age by her soundman father, the rhythms of Studio One, Trojan and Treasure Isle soundtracked her childhood. Chanelle’s mother recognised her keen musical interest from an early age and encouraged her to take up piano, flute, trombone, french horn and even the drums, alongside the singing lessons that set her on the path.
Fast forward to 2009 and Chann has been deep in the studio with some of the UK’s hottest producers, working on tracks for her debut album. First out of the traps is ‘Sticky Situation’ a killer collabo with UK super producer Sticky (Ms Dynamite, Stush, Tubby T), which is already blowing up dancefloors and radio shows across the UK ahead of its November release.
Live, Lady Chann is a force to be reckoned with. Having served her apprenticeship as part London’s premier dancehall crew she is a true microphone controller, her husky voice and trademark flow setting her apart from the pack, and tearing up the hottest clubs across the UK and beyond.
Expect to hear much more from this Lady in 2010.
Listen to her music here

I hope you like her, because IIIIII DOOOOO!
Love
Verena xxx
