One Year.
And there you are, one year older. “Happy Birthday” they say.
One of the most superficially used sentences, alike to “I love you”, “I miss you” or “How are you?”. Sad that is, since it can mean so much when you least expect it to.
Sometimes people plan the day throughout- every second is controlled and already written. They end up alone, crying in their beds, disappointed of the self expectations that they had towards the day, their people or even to themselves.
And then there are those, who just go with the flow. The perfect situations are natural, they are real. They are maybe more simple than you thought, more humble, but they surely make them into an eternal memory.
As said, sometimes a birthday can mean much more than expected. A new strength, leaving weight behind, renewing your senses, emotions, opening up closed doors, ready for new beginnings, for new experiences, for more. The inner drive seems to explode of the will you feel inside. The next step in creating your future, fighting for your aspirations and dreams.
They are a reality check of gratefulness we should be ashamed of, of not feeling every day. Having the people you love around you and the feeling rising inside, is part of life’s essence.
And there you are. Fresh sheets cover the renewed nest, although the air still stands still. Heat pours out of every inch of your body, memories are fresh. The driver has parked the roller-coaster, and life has you back in all its ways. So quick, next. Again, there is no time. Time to let moments grow on you, time to feel. You just have to continue, run, run, run for your life, for your love.
And at the end of it all, there you are. Balanced. Completely in peace with your self. The bubble is alive, you float in some sort of “me & my wonderland”, which you will more than survive. Relaxed, its summer, everythign feels light and easy. Why should you rush, its too hot anyway. Why should you rush, you will fall anyway. Why should you rush, life is too beautiful- right now- and in any case.
