I really miss New York when I look at these pics. Shooting in NY is kind of special, you got all these nice sceneries and the light always seems to be perfect. We just walked along Broadway  and stopped now and then to take a few shots. Big up to creative director Mallence Bart Williams and Photographer Quazi King, I really enjoyed working with you. Well…you can’t really call it ‘work’.  We had fun….imagine standing in the middle of the street, in a damn bathing suit…..in chinatown…..I bet you can find more pictures of me in chinese and japanese private photo collections than in printed out k1x lookbooks.

Yesterday morning I did a shoot for the k1x spring/summer 2011 catalogue, we kind of planned to do the shoot in chinatown but stopped a couple of times on our way there…..the light in NYC always seems to be perfect. Alternating between waving to tourist busses and posing on broadway we made it to Chinatown. That was actually the first time I saw Chinatown, I somehow didn’t check it out till yesterday.  Well, we shoot a bathingsuit in the middle of the street…. now I know Chinatown and Chinatown knows me.
