Herman Hesse is such a badass.I am reading this book at the moment,”Demian” . There is so much simple truth in it, that I keep marking pages and lines.I am not even half through it and the book already looks like a crazy coloured mess. Anyway, what I want to say is…it keeps me thinking. The following lines have been on my mind since I read them. I think in times where the influence of social networks like facebook and twitter on our everyday life is getting stronger ,we tend to lose the focus of whats real and what is not. I mean real like, true to yourself to your own opinion,to the things that YOU love and think. It’s so easy to lose your focus between the tweets and listen to the voice of the “scene” instead to ones own.Tell me about it.

Everything in life is art.What you do and how you do it. The way you love someone and how you dress. How you talk, your personality and your SMILE.What you believe in and ALL YOUR DREAMS.The way you drink your coffee and how you decorate your home.Your to do lists,the food you eat.How you party and how your writing looks.The way you wear your hair,the playlists you make and what you call them.And the way you feel. – Life is art – There is no need, to be someone else, to play a role or to try to be something or someone different from who you are. You are your own piece of art and there is no one but you to decide how it should look. You don’t even need to check how other pictures look, cause yours is just right the way you like it.Sure…..you have to find out what YOU like and what YOU want, maybe that’s the most difficult part of it all. You can be whatever you wanna be, when you are true and honest to yourself.It’s all within you, you just need to find it.
