Maaaaaan, time flies. This is ridiculous. My boys from Dreamteam Clothing are already celebrating their 5th years anniversary ! Of course the party boys  gonna do that with a big ass event  in their hometown Düsseldorf next Saturday, so they reanimated Miki and the ‘12inch Orchestra’, a project that we wanted to do for quite some time now.  Imagine hearing aaaaall of your favorite tracks from back in the days live… (and we know that Miki is killing this live shit)…..today is the second day of rehearsal and I am loving it . Working with Miki and performing tracks that I’ve been rapping and singing along for years now is really something else. That experience combined with performing for a crowd that holds my closest friends makes all of this so special for me.

There are so many different ways to be connected to people. There are the people you feel this unspoken connection to even though theres not even a word for it and then there are the people who you’ve known for a long time. Those who just know you in this way that other people can’t because they’ve seen u change. They’ve let u change.
For me, there are gonna be a lot of those people on saturday, on and off stage……I will try not to cry, ’so I gotta make the song cry’.

I love vintage clothing and jewellery and finally there’s a great vintage store in Düsseldorf. It just opened on my street .

In the lovely little store you find clothes, jewellery, shoes, bags…everyting what a true vintage heart desires. Definitely worth stopping by .You get the stuff you buy in those huge boxes all over printed with flowers,luv it ..so eVe.

New in Düsseldorf, the KEEP IT SIMPLE Department Store .

They boys have a nice selection of sneakers and brands like Edwin, Dreamteam Clothing, Levi’s Vintage, Penfield and Alife (check their homepage for the whole selection).

Apart from that you can get a whole lot of different fancy items like watches, sunglasses, jewellery and stuff. The shop is def worth taking a closer look. The walls are covered with an artwork by the photographer  Stefan Brainbarth.

Even if you don’t wanna shop ,the store is also a cool spot to hang out when the weather is dope. It’s located in a nice area in Düsseldorf Flingern and the guys are always up for a coffee  and a chat (u get the best coffee ever right next to the shop at KOSTBAR)  =)  see you there.

They sell exclusive stuff around fashion, design, interiour & innovations from all over the world…..little pricy, so be aware that they sell that “worth dying for” kinda stuff before you step into LOUD! Their blog is worth taking a look at  too, (love the music selection )

Das Güzel ist eine kleines Restaurant/Bar mit loungiger Atmosphäre in Düsseldorf-Bilk. Die Bedienung ist überfreundlich und das Publikum gemischt und symphatisch. Zu dem musikalischen Mix aus Jazz, Lounge  Sounds probiert man am besten einen türkischen Weißwein, oder auch eine Flasche….die Preise sind wirklich mehr als einladend für Düsseldorfer Verhältnisse.

Die Karte ist überschaubar, aber ausgewählt und die Küche ausgezeichnet. Theoretisch kann man sich einmal durch die Karte futtern. Da das “Güzel” eine türkische Bar ist, unbedingt türkisch essen!( Döner und türkische Pizza sind jedoch hier nicht der Style..) Der gemischte Vorspiesenteller oder die Zuchini-Schafskäse Puffer können einfach alles. Alle Gerichte sind superfresh und werden von selbstgemachten Saußen abgerundet. Def. my new favourite Spot !
