After this tease, here is the news: We got a new place in Mitte to enjoy that non-sinning desert. Efa’s Frozen Yogurt will open its doors this Saturday, May 7th, at 1PM, surprising you not only with Frozen Yogurt, but fresh lemonade, cakes & so on.

Kommenden Donnerstag findet  im MADE der Launch des Buches ‘ALL GONE’ – The Finest of Street Art Culture 2010‘ statt.  Zum 5. Geburtstag der Ausstellungsreihe und des Buches, welches Jahr für Jahr von der französischen Agentur La MJC organisiert und zusammengestellt wird, werden ihre Buddies von Ed Banger Records performen, wobei Busy P hier bereits in den Startlöchern steht! Um sieben gehts los und um Pünktlichkeit wird gebeten!

Die Ausstellung ist vom 21. Januar bis 2. Februar jeweils Montags – Freitags von 12.00 bis 19.00 Uhr geöffnet!

Heute möchten wir euch einer unserer Nachbarn vorstellen. So gut wie jeden Tag laufen wir an dem relativ neuen  und schicken Hotel Amano vorbei, denn es liegt im Zentrum von Berlin Mitte. Mit 163 Zimmern gibt es hier nicht nur die normalen Hotelzimmer, sondern auch Apartments, die für eine längere Zeit gebucht werden können. Jedes Apartment ist individuell mit liebe zum Detail eingerichtet und bietet die volle Grundausstattung. Dazu gibt es immer wieder special  Events im Haus, die ebenfalls die Berliner zum feiern einladen.

Leila El-Kayem zeichnet Bäume – ganz besondere Bäume. Sie sind grafisch schwarz-weiss, keinesfalls aber trist. Sie sind voller Energie und Lebensfreude und haben einen ebenso anziehenden Unterhaltungswert. Leila’s Bäume reflektieren das wundersame Dasein der Menschen und das ist nun einmal komisch. Vom 16. September bis 4. Oktober werden fünfzig Original-Zeichnungen im Showroom der Agentur BOLD gezeigt. Die Zeichnungen werden für einen Preis von 80 Euro verkauft. Für jedes verkaufte Baum Artwork wird von der Organisation ‘Trees for Cities‘ ein Baum in einer globalen
Metropole gepflanzt. Gleichzeitig feiert BOLD damit offizielle Agentureröffnung!

On your shopping trip through Mitte you can now rest and lunch at Bixels, the first restaurant for Baked Potatoes in Mitte, recently opened by Daniel Bixel. After thousand litres of thai-soups, uncountable pieces of pizza or the other stuff we ate for years, we’re extremely happy about this potato revival. Actually there might not be any more German food than potatoes (apart from cabbage) but the good thing is: it´s a healthy thing too. Forget all these low-carb-theories, potatoes are fat-free, full of proteins and just delicious. Be sure to go by when you´re in Mulackstraße and try them with chicken, red lentils and honey carrots or with goat cheese spinach salad with truffle oil…they are all delicate!
