Finally being released today, the beloved LOVE magazine setts of to round 6, entitling its issue “Super Natural” and featuring Chloe Grace Moretz, Hailee Steinfeld and Elle Fanning on its different covers.

The main editorial carrying the same name, was captured by Mert & Marcus, showing ‘the most striking models of the season in ethereal, romantic mood, their faces free of make-up and streaked with tears’. Yes, that pretty much explains the overall concept.

The snow-whites include Lara Stone, Mariacarla Boscono, Kristen McMenamy, Nyasha Matonhodze & Daphne Groeneveld, who are styled in beautiful crochet, religious blindfold and most importantly nearly monochromatic.

Asos Fall/Winter 2011 Preview

Da schlägt jedes Online-Shopper Herz höher! Asos.com, einer der bekanntesten und größten Online-Shops präsentiert eine kleine Vorschau seiner Herbst/Winter 2011 Kollektion. Die Auswahl ist wie immer breit gefächert und es lässt sich bestimmt für jeden Geschmack das richtige finden. Klar ist, dass diese Saison auch im Winter knallige Farben getragen werden können und Kniestrümpfe ein Muss sind. Wild durcheinander gemixt werden auch die verschiedensten Muster – ob nun Blumen oder Animalprints, hauptsache sie werden mit leuchtenden Farben kombiniert.

Das Ganze ist sehr praktisch denn eigentlich hat bestimmt jeder noch ein Teil in seinem Kasten, dass er mit einem neuen Stück von Asos tragen kann und so den Gesamtlook der Fall/Winter 2011 Preview Kollektion hinbekommt. Wir sind gespannt und warten schon jetzt auf die neuen Sachen des Online-Shops.

Urban Outfitters July Catalogue

Auch Urban Outfitters präsentiert eine neue Fotostrecke. Die Bilder wurden für die Juli-Ausgabe des Urban Outfitter Katalogs erstellt und zeigen die neusten, im Online-Shop oder Store erhältlichen Kleidungsstücke. Wie immer versucht Urban Outfitters in seinen Bildern den aktuellen Zeitgeist aufzufangen und zeigt Fotografien, in welchen die Kleider fast zur Nebensache werden da gekonnt Gefühle transportiert werden.

Ungeschminkt und sehr natürlich werden die Kleider vom Model vorgeführt und wirken unglaublich leicht und vermitteln ein Gefühl von sommerlichen Abenteuern. Die Fotostrecke macht nicht nur Lust auf Urlaub sondern allgemein zum Reisen und das in den unkomplizierten und doch modischen, bunten Urban Outfitter Stücken. Übrigens wird seit einiger Zeit darüber gemunkelt, dass im Juli ein Urban Outfitters Store in Berlin eröffnet werden soll – also nichts wie los und schon im Katalog ankreuzen, was man kaufen möchte.

Für die Juli-Ausgabe des „Dazed & Confused“ Magazins, welches bereits im Handel erhältlich ist, fotografierte  Sharif Hamza niemand anderen als die Powerfrau und Popdiva Beyoncé Knowles. Erblondet und mit Hochsteckfrisur posiert die Sängerin gekonnt zwischen alten Wohnwagen auf einem Schrottplatz.

Knallige Outfits und schrilles Make-up, kombiniert mit hohen transparente Strümpfen inkl. Strumpfhaltern verleihen dem Editorial einen trashigen Retro-Charme. Jedes noch so kleinste Detail im Editorial, ob das nun die grün gestrichenen Nägel von Beyoncé oder Accessoires in passenden Farben sind, ist ein Hingucker und wurde perfekt inszeniert. Eine gelungene Fotostrecke, die die Sängerin von einer neuen Seite zeigt und zusätzlich die Werbetrommel für ihr neustes Album „4“ das erst gerade erschienen ist, kräftig rührt.

Auch die Sängerin Cassie überrascht mit einem neuen Editorial für das „Blank Magazine“. Passend wurde sie vor Graffiti-Wänden, alten Autos oder in Ghettomässigen Vorgärten abgelichtet. Knapp Bekleidet präsentiert sich Cassie von ihrer sexy Seite und behält dabei trotzdem die nötige Coolness die man braucht wenn man bei P.Diddys „Bad Boy Records“ unter Vertrag steht.

Die Farben des Editorials scheinen fast zu explodieren. Knallige Neonfarben wo man nur hinschaut und trotz der dominanten Farbumgebung schafft es Cassie, im Vordergrund zu bleiben und den Betrachter mit ihrer Schönheit in ihren Bann zu ziehen. Fotografiert wurde das Editorial von Gomillion und Leupold.

There she is again, one of our favourites hitting the stage. Erin Wasson is surely one of a kind, stepping into that segment of natural beauty models that sometimes can be so much nicer to look at than all that fashionista fake eyelashes bling bling.

“And suddenly she was a big girl!” – we’re sure that by now this sentence is nothing but annoying for Zoe Kravitz, who by now is 22 and probably anything but innocent. Some ladies at that age nowadays are even wiser or aware of what is happening around them than many thirty year olds.

But back to the actual subject: Simon Burstall shot the absolutely stunning Mrs. Kravitz for the latest issue of Wonderland magazine. Flashing her numerous tattoos, playing with a toothpick she captures us all with her natural beauty and fiery attitude.

Atusko Kudo is the mastermind behind her couture label carrying the same name, creating latex garments for all those ladies that need something spicy or mass attention.

After studying fashion in Tokyo, she moved to London to get into theater costume design, and started a job making gimp masks in a sex shop. Mastering in latex, she decided to build up a brand working exclusively with this fascinating material. Lady Gaga, Beyonce and J-Lo are just some of the many collabs with celebrities she has done, besides selling her designs at her London shop & studio.

Fashion brand J Lindbergh releases a fashion book twice a year. For the latest Spring Summer 2011 edition, Olivier Zahm chose Sarah Schofield to be “The Girl at Hotel Saint Merry”.
