eVe presents: Original Style x adidas Originals

On a cold evening in November we invited our eVerette Tüla aka “Youthletter” to join us for another women-only production. This time we were asked by adidas Originals and our eVerette Michal aka “Whatever we like” to define & style one original outfit to go along with the release of their new online platform entitled “news for original girls”, run by our close friend Palina Rojinski.
Tüla has been on board with eVe from the very beginning and we realized we had never actually worked with her before. But apart from that, Tüla represents Berlin to the fullest. Growing up in deep down Kreuzberg in a pretty much Berlin typical Turkish family, moving into other social spheres as she grew up, leading her to where she is now: basically everywhere, at least in Berlin. So the question of whom to select for this shooting was an easy call.
We met in Michal’s kitchen for a proper session of styling, make-up, tea, smokes and music. Of course it always takes a little longer with us ladies. Two hours later, after a proper update on all-round life matters, we set off towards the 1914 built Volksbühne (People’s Theatre), a center of Berlin-Mitte’s attention as far as architecture and theatre, of course. The setting is unique, this is Berlin!
Overall, our city was our inspiration. The subject was 24/7. It was important for us to create a look that us working women could wear from day to night, something easy going – yet sexy, with distinguished character by the influence of the person itself. Something that stands out due to the mixture of ease and rare details. An outfit highlighting curves and lustrous red lips. A homage to women. A homage to Berlin. A homage to eVe.
