Und wieder einmal eine grandiose Idee von unseren französischen Freunden. Für den Launch des neuen französichen National Fussball Team Jersey by Nike hat sich der Street- und Fashion Shop Colette aus Paris einiges einfallen lassen. Vom 28. März bis am 9. April findet dort das Event „The Away Project“ statt, bei welchem verschiedene renommierte Brands ihre bekanntesten Produkte im blau/weiss gestreiften Marine-Look präsentieren. Dies ist natürlich eine Anlehnung an die neuen elegant gestylten Trikots des französischen Fussball Teams, welche den traditionellen französischen Chic mit dem innovativen Produktdesign von Nike verbinden. Mit von der Partie sind unter anderem Chanel, Comme des Garçons, Hermès, Ladurée, Longchamp, MontBlanc, Swatch, Yves Saint Laurent usw. Ein muss auch für jeden Fussballmuffel!

Und wieder einmal werden alle Modefreaks unsere französischen Freunde beneiden! Ab dem 1. März gibt es nämlich nur noch eine Adresse für alle die in Paris sind. Die 36-340 rue Saint-Honoré. Dort eröffnet Chanel zusammen mit Colette, einem unserer Lieblingsstores, einen Pop-Up-Store in einer alten Garage die aufwendig renoviert wurde. Jeden Tag werden andere Künstler im Pop-Up-Store zu finden sein, welche die klassischen Taschen von Chanel verschönern.

Paris-based clothing aka shoe shop aka online magazine Black Rainbow is known to sell cool pieces by brands like Nike, Staple and Supra. To celebrate their individuality and have a little fun, the store hosts a brunch every last Sunday of the month.
Their latest soiree was in collaboration one of our fav’s: the eco-friendly, woman’s sneaker and accessory brand, Booji. Following the theme of the sneakers, the brunch was fun, colorful and creative. Filled with candy, tasty treats, and decorating workshops for cupcakes and nails, the event was a total hit. Judging by the photos and video, we wish we were there to join in on the party… maybe next time! Big up Ladies!

We’re absolutely loving the new generation of retailers who are upping the experience factor in their stores. The latest installment is from Veja, the eco-friendly sneaker brand who pride themselves on minimalistic design. Their store, Centre Commercial at Canal St. Martin in Paris, are officially opening their doors on Dec. 2. Curating a fine selection of women’s and men’s wear, furniture, art and bikes, the store creates an aesthetic of the raw, yet modern.

Fashion. Art. Low Brow, High Brow. Photography. Portrait. What’s the difference these days in our media-saturated, visual, genre-jumping culture? Well, not much at all. Parisian boutique, Colette, launched their online culture blog/newsletter/eshop long ago and now you can buy quality prints from artists like Peter Funch. As part of his exhibition in the store, his collection titled Babel Tales can be instantly available for purchase online. The photographs are well worth it too, capturing the everyday moments and movements.

Remember? End of June we told you about the great idea of Paris’s department store colette and London’s hyped gallery-store KesselsKramer, to swap their destinations for a few weeks summer holiday. On Friday colette arrived at KK Outlet on Hoxton Square in London making available a delicate collection of cool products . So, if you accidentally are in London, don’t miss to come by and shop wonderful stuff, from books to designs from the world of various artists (original works by André, Darcel and Irina Dakova at KK Outlet) or some other items, which are produced specially for this event: YES or NO stamps, a fan’s scarf and a pair of socks (with Happy Socks).
