Jeremy Kost “In The Dark We Live And Love” Exhibition

Exhibition: Michal Rovner at Espace culturel Louis Vuitton

Exhibition: Miss Van – “Twinkles”

Miss Van will probably be on the top of our female artist list forever. She now has returned to her home country, after three years of absence in France, to present her latest exhibition entitled “Twinkles” at the Magda Danysz Gallery in Paris.

Showing her trademark collections of pin-up inspired women, Twinkles has a rather melancholic feel compared to her well-known poppy mixes of bright and warm colors. This time around, she gives her attention to dark and almost shadowy bodies, celebrating the felinity of women.

Take a look at the preview after the click & check out the exhibition details below!

When: March 19th – April 30th- 2011

Exhibition: Claire Fontaine “No Family Life”

Exhibition: Hedi Slimane “Fragments America”

Hedi Slimane will open his first exhibition in Brussels to date, “Fragments America” on February 25th at the Almine Rech Gallery, with whom he has collaborated for more than eight years.

The basic subject of the exhibition lays on following American youth, an archive he has built up over the past years. Trademark to his realistic, natural, documentary-like, black & white photographic masterpieces, he will show us his personal vision of what he believes is dominating the American aesthetics.

Another peak of the exhibition is the invitation of participating artists Gus Van Sant and Oscar Tuazon, presenting film and sculptures respectively. Pretty much simulatenously to his Brussels opening, the Almine Rech Gallery in Paris will open ‘California Dreamin – Myths and Legends of Los Angeles’, curated by Hedi Slimane from February 26th till March 26th.
