London online-shop Supermarket Sarah offers us the kind of shopping we like! She presents the items to sell on her photographed walls, which then are uploaded online for you to choose with a click what you want. The walls are a bit like art installations: colorful, a little messy but very lovely in its details. Her new collaboration with Jewellery-label Tatty Devine is online now! Supermarket Sarah’s item-wall is also up in the Tatty Devine Store at Brick Lane, where you can go for a real feel&touch. Remember? End of June we told you about the great idea of Paris’s department store colette and London’s hyped gallery-store KesselsKramer, to swap their destinations for a few weeks summer holiday. On Friday colette arrived at KK Outlet on Hoxton Square in London making available a delicate collection of cool products . So, if you accidentally are in London, don’t miss to come by and shop wonderful stuff, from books to designs from the world of various artists (original works by André, Darcel and Irina Dakova at KK Outlet) or some other items, which are produced specially for this event: YES or NO stamps, a fan’s scarf and a pair of socks (with Happy Socks).

The British Onlineshop The Goodhood Store always chose their names well, seeing their good taste in the selection of brands and products, a clear but noble design and a good hand for presentation. We also see this in the choice of the photographer of their new Summer 2010 Lookbook, which was captured by Victor Vauthier, showing a range of products you can now buy at the store. The photos from the french photographer always have a real natural look, you wouldn´t think that the models are professionals or that he wasted a thought about a location (we think, in this case it was Victor´s studio/home) or the right light.

Das kennt man ja: immer will man das, was man grade nicht hat. Das scheint ein Phänomen zu sein, welches sich in jedem Bereich anwenden läßt und dem berühmten Pariser Concept Store Colette scheint es da nicht anders zu gehen. Also hat man sich gedacht, lass uns doch tauschen! Der Tausch-Partner ist in diesem Fall der Outlet Store von KesselsKramer , eine dieser coolen Hybriden aus Agentur, Shop und Gallerie. Man tauscht also die Läden, Colette packt seine Koffer und zieht mit einer Auswahl seiner tollsten Produkte, Bücher und Artworks nach London und iniitiert sogar noch zwei Ausstellungen dazu. Im Gegenzug gibt es dann in Paris von Erik Kessels extra für den Tausch gefertigte, einzigartige Artworks zu erwerben. Wir finden: Gute Idee und schauen bei Gelegenheit mal vorbei!

In London hat diese Woche ein neuer Louis Vuitton Shop eröffnet. Es ist eine ganz besondere Shoperöffung, da damals der erste Laden im Ausland, der in der New Bond Street in London gewesen ist. In einem kurzen Video spricht Peter Marino, der Architekt des Ganzen, von der neu/anders Ausrichtung der Boutique, von dem neuen Erlebnis was sie schaffen möchten und beschreibt die neue Maison so: “dark, sexy & mysterious”.

Wer jedoch kein Geld in der Tasche hat, aber trotzdem Kunstinteressiert ist, wird hier ebenfalls sehr interessante Stücke finden.
