Accompanying these ‘this-may-be-getting-dangerously-easy’ news, they are presenting a memorable piece, reissuing the legendary 5 Zips leather biker jacket ,which different to the 1999 original will be featured in glazed indigo cotton denim. Limited to a piece of 50 ladies and 50 gents the exclusive outerwear will just be available on the fashion label’s online store… of course!

We all know how it feels like when you wake up with the wrong foot in the morning. When everything you seem to try that morning goes into the wrong direction or you’re simply caught up with the bad-mood-mania. Sometimes it can happen that you just forget how to change it for the better. The Netherland based creation studio Creative Heroes have developed the DiceForChange, aiming to change people’s behaviour in a playful manner. May it be for welness being, a daily eco-action or a random act of kindness, there are three different dices for any emergency to trigger our awareness of how simple actions can have a positive affect on our lives. Unfortunately they haven’t run into production yet, but hopefully soon!

Lindsay Wixson has surpassed the first year of her modelling career which began in 2009, and is now surely recognised as the star of the new beauty-generation. Born in Kansas in 1994, she began taking over the runways with her big bang in Spring 2010 walking for Prada in Milan. By now everybody recognises the girl with the trademark small-but-in-some-way-super-delicious-mouth and her great potential of adapting roles and jumping into different looks. Having walked for Tommy Hilfiger, Marc Jacobs, Oscar de la Renta, Rodarte, Phillip Lim and Charlotte Ronson among many other designers during the current New York Fashion Week she doesn’t need to fight for credit no longer, especially after being the campaign face for Miu Miu, Jill Stuart and John Galliano and being ranked as #19 on the Top 50 Models Women by models.com.  It is amazing to see how quickly you can be part of the game and roll, as long as you have the right mixture of beauty, discipline, attitude and luck.

Olivier Zahm thinks likewise, and features her in a great editorial within the current Purple Magazine #14, presenting the seven favourite fall looks of Purple fashion editor Yasmine Eslami among which we can include juicy Balmain’s, YSL’s and Miu Miu’s. Cherry Vanilla isn’t a myth or some dark vision we have from the past. She is real and she probably influenced more than one of us out there. Cherry Vanilla was born in Queens and began her career in the 60’s as a producer and DJing in Manhattan & French Riviera clubs. After settling her position as a rock & roll groupie, she became an alternative actress playing the main character in Andy Warhol’s “Pork” play. Followed by being David Bowie’s PR, launching her career as a poet with her self-published book Pop Tart Compositions, touring Europe with her own rock band which included Sting of The Police, doing film projects with jazz legend Chet Backer, running one of the first phone-sex services in America, working with Tim Burton… we probably forgot loads.

Yes, she is more than definitely an absolute wonderwoman. Cherry has now finally written her tell-it-all autobiography, a 288 page hardcover entitled LICK ME, which will be on sale from November onwards, letting us take a real jump into her juicy life story. You may pre-order here!

Bit by bit we are allowed to discover more on the upcoming collab between the high fashion house Lanvin and the Swedish ’shop-till-you-drop’ empire H&M. Whilst supermodel Natasha Poly was chosen to be the face of the upcoming campaign, Lanvin designer Alber Elbaz tells us more on how it all began, what he has in mind when designing the collab collection and sharing some small sneak peak ideas on colorways, patterns and more.

Wir klopfen uns stolz auf die Schulter, haben wir bei unserer Vermutung, einer der Designer, die die neue Kollab mit H&M machen, könnte Alber Elbaz sein, doch tatsächlich richtig geraten! Am 23. November präparieren wir uns dann also mal wieder mit Knieschützern, Schutzbrille und Rasierklingen in den Mantel-Aufschlägen (kleiner Scherz, aber hey, wir sprechen hier von erschwinglichen Lanvin-Stücken!) um aus dem garantiert statt findenden Grabenkampf in den Filialen siegreich hervorzugehen. Und wenn ihr jetzt gedacht habt, ihr könntet schon mal eine Liste anlegen, was ihr unbedingt ergattern müsst, müssen wir Euch leider enttäuschen, die Kollektion zeigt uns H&M erst am 2. November, so lange bleibt es also noch spannend. Aber ihr könnt ja schonmal ein bisschen Geld beiseite legen, ihr werdet es brauchen!

Unser alte Schwede H&M kollaboriert mal wieder, die Frage ist diesmal nur: mit wem eigentlich? Zwei mysteriöse Teaser sind erschienen, bei denen man jedoch nur durch die Stimme und den Kleidungsstil des Designers auf seine bzw. ihre Identität schließen kann. Nun wird heiß spekuliert. Gehören die seriösen Karos vielleicht zu Alber Elbaz, Head of Design bei Lanvin? Sind die opulenten Drapierungen ein Hinweis auf Vivienne Westwood? In Anlehnung an den Juliet-Club sollte man vielleicht von der Homepage ‘SMS von Gestern Nacht‘ und seinem amerikanischen Pendant ‘Texts From Last Night‘ dazu berichten. Per SMS schickt man seine Nachricht, in der es meistens um Irrungen und Wirrungen durch die Liebe & Sex geht, an eine Festnetz-Nummer und die Nachricht erscheint auf der Seite. Die verfassten Messages werden dann gelesen und können kommentiert werden, so erhält man Rat, Zuspruch und Trost einer anonymen sozialen Community und kann selbst zur virtuellen Briefkastentante werden. Das ist oft sehr lustig aber auch manchmal starker Tobak, da sich die Leute in der Anonymität oft ziemlich gehen lassen und reichlich unbedarft sehr derbe Tonfälle anschlagen. Wußte sie´s oder wußte sie´s nicht? Naomi Campbell steht derzeit vor Gericht um sich gegen die Vorwürfe zu verteidigen, sie habe 1997 einen Blutdiamanten des früheren liberianischen Diktators Charles Taylor angenommen. Zwar räumte sie ein, einen Diamanten erhalten zu haben, dass dieser jedoch von Taylor war, habe sie nicht gewußt. Nicht weniger Interesse gilt derzeit Naomis Gerichts-Outfit, ein cremefarbenes Kostüm und eine Halskette, deren Anhänger sie vor ‘bösen Blicken’ schützen soll, sorgte unlängst für Belustigung. Inspiriert von dem Fall hat Designer Christopher Lee Sauve erneuert ein sarkastisches T-Shirt entworfen, das Naomis Konterfei ziert und für ihn ebenfalls zu persönlichen Begegnung mit dem Topmodel vor einem Richter führen könnte.

Miss Productive M.I.A. seems to like the motto ‘Get two for one’ and is presenting two new videos for singles from her new Album /\/\/\Y/\. Her first new single is visualizing the best thing in life: kissing! The Track ‘XXXO’ has been blessed with a cool video directed by Hype Williams. We’re not 100% sure about that second one, it seems like its just a background movie for one of her live shows. But hey- everything fresh is worth a mention!

The wheel at i-D Magazine is being taken over by former deputy editor Holly Shackleton while chief editor Ben Reardon is changing to Britain’s biannual GQ Style. Scheduled to the 30th anniversary of the magazine and as a symbol of change, a three cover-issue is published with different front looks from Kate Moss, Lady Gaga and Naomi Campbell, each one standing for the anniversary motto ‘then, now, next’, shot by fashion photographer Nick Knight. We congratulate Holly Shackleton and wish her all the best for the future- eVe in effect!
