Hint Magazine has collaborated with designer Christopher Sauvé to create a t-shirt in memory of the life and legacy of Alexander McQueen, all gor a good cause. A portion of the proceeds will go to the largest HIV/AIDS organization in the UK, Terrence Higgings Trust, which McQueen supported for many years. We absolutely love Set Editions! Founded in 2004 by Alison Riley, they use basic sentences for fundamental uses. Their product line ranges from basic sentence, letterpressed or post cards and gift tags. The use is to give those who have communication problems a little kick by helping them to express their emotions! The super cool umbrella from the Californian brand Urban Trim, actually changes color when being wet! With help from the UK-based female duo SquidLondon, they have achieved to transform the standard black & white design into a colourful scenario once being set out to rain, and vice versa when dry again.
Meccas Tate Modern and MOMA have discovered this nice gadget and to top it all off, MOMA is even commissioning a NYC Skyline custom umbrella to be out later this year. Johanna Grawunder is responsible for this beautiful coffee table. She mixes colored glass panels to achieve these lovely pieces of ‘interactive’ furniture. Depending on the perspective of the viewer, the orange tops serve as filters to change the color scheme of the structure. Nice idea and a chance to start and get some pigments into this grey winter homes!
