A new and refreshing brand is emerging out of Italy, by hands of the 32- year old Vivì Ponti. Showing her first Vivetta collection in Paris at a Who’s Next Contest in 2008, she has now released a very “mademoiselle” like collection for Autumn/Winter 2010. The collection is not only based on eccentric yet creative forms, but all pieces seem actually wearable. Ponti has recently designed dresses for Peaches Geldorf, of which she included some inspired versions in the current collection which you can partly buy here. We love this ‘bubble-pop-electric’!

Crazy Sexy Cool. The spirit of Wildfox has this time been filmed for their latest “Young Guns” Spring 2010 collection. Three girlfriends, crusing around, sushine and smiles. The playful interaction and the beautiful colors takes us to an inmediate summer adventure. “She is the Native Heart, she is all neon light, she is a love child. She is a Wildfox.”- This is how the brand describes their philosophy. Their flashy street fashion approach can be seen within their huge collection, from cropped shirts, to washed out denim, hearts and (leo) prints. The award for “Best Designer” at the Elle-Awards 2010 was given to Minimarket in January. The Swedish fashion brand has shown constant creative growth since their beginning in 2006, and definitely deserves a lot of attention. From clothing, to accessories and shoes, their clear lines but fresh designs stand out. The designer sisters Sofie, Pernilla and Jennifer Elverstedt have history with Elle, winning their “Best New Designer” Award in 2007. The trio have now made their short film public, directed by Sandberg&Timonen, which so far had only been shown at the Elle-Awards. Watch & Enjoy!

Good cause coming up: On the 31st of March ‘A Bathing Ape’ will release a t-shirt together with Vogue/GQ Japan fashion director Gene Krell. With a clear message of encouragement and compassion, BAPE will send the entire proceeds towards Haiti, selling the collab through Bapeland. We need more of this!

The Most Official Bitch leader Leah McSweeney and her lil’ sister, Sarah aka Sweet 16, were shot in Manhattan’s Grammercy Hotel, to show the “new” MTTM woman: she is still the scandalous and confidence in person, but has now grown up to manage the balance between badass and refined. 148-pages, twice a year, filled up with inspirations and the world of fantastic women. What else could we wish for?!

This is what the sister magazine to Fantastic Man, The Gentlewoman, will share with us in the future. Phoebe Philo, Celine’s creative director, sets wonderful high standards for the cover of the first issue, launching on March 22. Editor in Chief Penny Martin, has also chosen to portray the American artist Jenny Holzer, and Kazuyo Sejima (the first woman to be director of architecture for the Venice Biennale). Model Daisy Lowe, critic Alice Rawsthorn and fashion designer Louise Gray are part of the contributors, and all in all it just seems the perfect combination of interesting content and variety, making us looking forward to hit the newsstand soon!
