Zelebriert wird das 20 jährige Dasein eines der einflussreichsten Männer dieser Zeit in der Fashion Welt.
Diese einzigartige Ausstellung, wird vom Mode Museum, Antwerpen kuratiert und beinhaltet Fashion, Kunst und Design .

Cosma Shiva Hagen aka Cosmic Sista, Schauspielerin aus Hamburg.
Ihr Konzept war, weniger ist mehr, kein großes TamTam um ihre Person, sondern einfach zeigen, wer sie wirklich ist.

Cosma Shiva Hagen aka Cosmic Sista, Actress representing Hamburg.
Her concept was less is more, and pinching the bubble created around her to show who she really is.
An image of her childhood, holding the hand of her mum, which was shot at a well-known “plaza” on Ibiza in the 80’s. Its roots what she talks about, displaying an old telephone to show her nomadic life when she was young.

Isabell Polak, Schauspielerin und in Berlin angesiedelt.
Isabell zeigte einen Film namens “Lady Polak, Schürhakengesicht feat. Jungs und Könige sind raus” , dabei war sie selber in allen drei Hauptrollen vertreten.
Dazu gab es ein 2tes Paar Kopfhörer die folgenden Song spielten.

Isabell Polak, Actress living in Berlin.
She showed us a self directed film named “Lady Polak, Schürhakengesicht feat Jungs und Könige sind raus”- which means as much as: Lady Polak, Pokerface feat Boys and Kings are out. She was starring in 3 different roles simultaneously with an excellent result!
Together with the film, you could listen to this song, on an extra set of headphones.

Mareike aka Master of Disaster aka The Passenger Seat, Hamburg.
Was sollte sie anderes zeigen , als ihr aufregendes Leben. Vom reisen in ihrer Freizeit zwischen Hamburg und Barcelona, bis hin zur New Yorker Fashion Week, angestellt als Assistentin einer der angesagtesten Stylistinnen der Stadt.
Das Video zeigt ihre Vorliebe für Rockmusik und vermittelt ein Gefühl von exsessiven Lebenstil, ganz nach Prinzip Peter Pan.

What else could she show, than her exiting life? From traveling for pleasure between Hamburg, Barcelona & New York to working at the New York Fashion Week and being assistant to some of the best stylists in town.
In the video, we feel her fable for rock music and the excessive life that this adventurous kid leads in an adult woman’s body.

Maxim Kaspar, Berlin
Maxim Kaspar, die einzige Unbekannte bei uns, hat ein ganzes Puppemtheater selbst kreiert. Eine interaktive Welt, zum sehen und zum fühlen, mit der Möglichkeit beizutragen.
Vor dem Puppentheater stehend, musste man sich Kopfhörer aufsetzen und wurde mit den erzählten Gedanken (hier zu hören) durch das “Spiel” geleitet.
Gespielt wurde mit 5 Taschen, aus welchen Sachen raus genommen wurden; außer eine Tasche, die den Zuschauer aufforderte etwas hinein zu legen.
Das Gehörte war nicht einfach nur ein Wegweiser, sondern griff Themen auf die Maxim Kaspar in ihrer Welt beschäftigen.

Maxim Kaspar, the only incognito member of eVe without adam, created a whole puppet-theater herself! An interactive world, to watch, see, feel and even with a possibility to contribute.
Standing in front of the masterpiece, you would put on headphones, which would guide you with this conversation through the “game”. Playing with 5 pockets, from which you would “take something out”, except the last one, where she asked you to “put something in”.
The recording, was not only a sweet guide, but also touched intense themes and thoughts important to Maxim Kaspar’s world.

Larissa Sirah aka Lary Says, representiert Düsseldorf
Sie vereinte in ihrer gezeigten Installation weiblichen Elemente zur Portraitierung des Drucks, welcher auf einer Frau von heute lastet.
Die Silhouette eines weiblichen Körpers, inspiriert durch einen Misswahlen Contest, war beschrieben mit Text:
“SLAVE TO THE CULTURE. CULTURE IS A SHARED SYSTEM OF BELIEVE AND VALUE. SPIRITUALITY. LANGUAGE. SOCIAL ACTIVITY. THOUGHT. CULTURE INFLUENCES & CREATES- FIND YOUR BALANCE. BECOME QUEEN OF YOUR MENTAL BLUE PRINT”
Der Kopf des Körpers, war Larissa selber, inform eines Videos, als Ablschluß hatte sie eine Krone auf.
Es ist offensichtlich bei dieser Darstellung, dass in diesem Kontext, Larissa aus dem “System” ausbrechen möchte.

The silloute of a woman’s body, inspired from a Miss contest, was covered with texts:

The head to this body, Larissa herself, covered by a crown, showed a video.
By pointing out herself within this context, it obviously is a self analysis showing the attempt of breaking out of the systems commandments.

Franziska Taffelt, Berlin.
Franziska Taffelt, auch Fränzi genannt, ist Fotografin studiert an der Ostkreuz in Berlin und zeigte ein Tableau ihrer Lieblingsbilder des letzten Jahres.
Trotz Vielfältigkeit der Motive, schafft sie ein Gefühl und eine Emotion, die sich wie ein roter Faden durch alle Bilder zieht.

Ariadne von Schirach aka Ari aus Berlin.
Ihre gemütliche Ecke war klein, aber je näher der Betrachter kam, desto mehr Details wurden entdeckt.
Spiegel, eine Sammlung von Sätzen, Bildern und am ausgeprägtesten, ihre persönliche Note des Gesamten, da sie das Ausstellungsstück selbst entworfen, dekoriert und angebracht hat.
Die Autorin zeigt mit einem sehr femininen Blick, persönliche Geschichte, Erfahrungen und Entscheidenes: Schau in den Spiegel und vergiss niemals wer du bist.

Her cosy corner was small, but as closer you would get, the more important details you could see.
Mirrors, a collection of sentences, pictures and most significantly her personal note under each of the small frames decorating her exhibition piece.
The Author with her truly feminine aspects, represented personal history, experiences and what is crucial in life: Always look into the mirror, never forget who you are.

Kumari aka Terminal IBZ, zeigte uns einen Einblick in ihr Leben, was sie ausmacht und wo sie lebt: IBIZA!
Dein Zuhause ist, wo dein Herz schlägt, auch wenn sie nicht auf der Insel geboren ist, steht Kumari für die neue Post-Hippie-Generation.
Ihr Ausstellungsstück vereinte dementsprechend alle klassischen Zuordnungen: Freiheit, Revolution und die Hippie Wurzeln!

Home is where the heart is, and also if she wasn’t born on the island, she stands for the new post-hippie generation.
Her exhibition piece is of course representing all these elements. Freedom, revolution and hippie in the roots!

The Watering Can aka Rachel Hale, aus Toronto:
Hat ein Stück ihrer Lebensinspiration durch die kleine Kiara gezeigt, indem sie uns hören und lesen hat lassen…
Ein Zusammenschnitt aus Konversationen, die sie mit der 4 jährigen Tochter einer Freundin führt, in der die Kleine erzählt, dass sie gern nach Berlin kommen würde um Emily zu sehen, die Schwester von Rachel.
Sie erzählt was sie kann und was sie werde will und fragt dabei Rachel Lebensfragen, wie…
” do you love yourself?”
Es wirkt so, als stecke die Persönlichkeit einer FRAU, keines Mädchens, in ihr… eVe…
Ihre empathische Empfindung ist zu spüren und das Bild, welches das Fazit Rachel’s ist, gibt der gehörenen Konversation danach die endlgültige Schwere und das Verständnis der Kraft, die dieses kleine Mädchen ihrer Umwelt gibt.

The Watering Can aka Rachel Hale from Toronto.
She shows us a piece of her describing her life inspiration, through the little Kiara, in which she lets us both listen and read simultaneously.
An edited collection of sentences of a conversation that Rachel holds with the 4 year old daughter from a girlfriend. She little girl expresses that she would like to go to Berlin to see Emily- Rachel’s sister. Kiara tells us what she can do, what she wants to become when she is older and asks Rachel grown-up questions like:
“do you love yourself?”
There seems to be a woman hidden within Kiara’s personality, not the one of a child… in her, no matter the age, we can find eVe…
We can perceive their empathic emotions through sound, while the visual image gives the conversation the final depth and understanding of the power that this little girl gives to her surrounding.

For those who have not seen it yet, we want to point out Ute Mahler´s exhibition at GALERIE FÜR MODERNE FOTOGRAFIE, which will last till March 10th.
The German photographer, was born 1949 in Thüringen, Germany, studied photography in Leipzig and since then has been working as a freelance for international magazines and advertisement. Since 1995 she is a teacher (also from our bloggagurl Franziska Taffelt), and just publishes her own work. At the same time, she is co-founder of OSTKREUZ- Photography Agency & School.
Ute Mahler has been one of DDR’s fashion innovators due to her strong focus on fashions reality and not the fake world that often this form of art brings with it. During this period, and working for the DDR magazine Sybille, she captured strong, self-confident women who were not necessarily following fashion trends but giving great input into their own styles. Her detailed eye for a mysterious understatement can clearly be seen, as well as her fable for black&white shots.
Ute Mahler, still represents now, our eVe vision of the powerful feminine world and this exhibition should definitely be supported!
