On a cold evening in November we invited our eVerette Tüla aka “Youthletter” to join us for another women-only production. This time we were asked by adidas Originals and our eVerette Michal aka “Whatever we like” to define & style one original outfit to go along with the release of their new online platform entitled “news for original girls”, run by our close friend Palina Rojinski.

Five identities. One brand. And now, just six steps away. What we showed you last summer as “Project Unknown”, is now not that much of a secret anymore!
Mdot from booji spoke to us last Winter about this upcoming project, and it didn’t take much hesitation to step on board. Together with Sandrinette from Paris’s Color Me Goood (and eVe of course) and Hana May from New York based hearty magazine we formed The Six Degrees collective. Six degrees of separation is based on the idea that everyone is connected an average of six steps away. Meaning: though far apart, we are all linked by our passion & drive, we are separated, yet always connected.

Friends are friends, till the end. Ok, this time, for at least five years. Supporting and celebrating our boys Huy Dieu, Kazuma Hataraki, Khaled Sufi and Miki Devic from the Düsseldorfer possee Dreamteam Clothing aka DRMTM, we hopped in our fake luxury Ford Koda on Friday evening, for a six hour ride down west. Apart from hosting DRMTM at Bread & Butter for quite some seasons now, Huy is also the big boss at gooq, which is responsible for our website design- basically we (need) to treat him as GOD. Jokes aside, forever grateful.
First things first, shopping & flea-market. 7PM, ready to head out to Huy’s birthday dinner, what a coincidence, at a sweet Vietnamese place called Khan’s Lilly where we were invited to roll our own spring rolls and mess around with prawns a la yummy Asian fondue style. Cake, singing happy birthday 50 times and a lot of bottles of wine later, it was time to pateeeeey.
Düsseldorf’s UFER 8, a 1000 young NRW (some-wannabe) hipsters were going absolutely crazy for Matt’s, our lady Ms. Klick Klack aka Hadi aka Hadnet Tesfair and the ultra-good world-champ DJ Rafik. Highlight was of course our eVerette Lary Says aka Larissa Sirah who was performing with Miki & co., also known as the “12 inch Orchestra”. 1.5 hours of straight on hits- huge big up!
Hangover Sunday: lets invade Selim’s TOYKIO and eat delightful bagels and buy addictive art! Great concept, great store, great art- we loved it all!

You heard right. Invited by our other family Bread & Butter we are heading to Munich tomorrow, for an evening of roller-coasters & fun fair action. Traditional dirndl dress up, inspecting who’s got the biggest lederhosen bump, beer, and horrible folk songs which thousands of drunk fat Germans sing along to in a huge tent. We love it and we hate it, but we’re looking forward to two days of friends, non-office & Indian summer sunshine!

Back in June we were asked by our eVerette Sneakerqueen aka Julia Schoierer to collaborate on a very flattering project: supporting with the styling for the Fall 2011 adidas City vs. City campaign, representing our lovely city Berlin. Of course the answer was YES.
First steps first we chose our stunning models. We wanted to show the different faces of this multicultural city, bringing in different heritages, from Japanese to Afro-American and Turkish. Mika Moriyama, Michelle Reed, Maureen Caulk and Bahar Kaygusuz were the perfect beauties for this project, easily being able to slip into different styles and thus being able to tell different stories through their looks. This has been way too long! After a month travelling the world and enjoying hometown Berlin, we’re back on track to take over the world!
As mentioned in the meantime, we collaborated with our eVerette Sneakerqueen on the adidas City vs City shooting representing our city Berlin! Taking care of the styling on this all womens project, Sneakerqueen was responsible for capturing our models Mika, Michelle, Mo and Bahar wearing adidas Originals and pieces of the Jeremy Scott collection for Fall/Winter 2011. Sidewalk meets catwalk, vintage mixes with trendy, sporty gets a glam-over.
Stylists from all over the globe will compete in one-on-one battles to represent their turf via the adidas website, so make sure to vote for us & Berlin HERE!

Urlaub hier Urlaub da…
Hier nun ein kleines Update von den letzten Tagen & Geschehnissen.
Wir hatten bereits davon berichtet, dass unsere eVerette SNEAKERQUEEN exklusiv dabei sein durfte, bei der diesjährigen All Adidas Kampagne. Außerdem wurde sie ausgewählt als Fotografin & Bloggerin, einer der 13 Städte zu representieren, für die aktuelle Winter Adidas Originals City vs. City Lookbook Kampagne. Sie hat uns um Hilfe gebeten und natürlich konnten wir das nicht ausschlagen und haben so gemeinsam ca. 20 Looks kreiert. Das Battle geht im September los, hier bei uns findet ihr schon mal einen kleinen Vorgeschmack!
Außerdem haben unsere Ladies von LOOKY LOOKY ein Buch released letzte Woche mit dem Aufhänger “WESTBERLIN IHR NUTTEN”, ein Buch das Freunden gewidmet ist und Schnappschüsse der Crew aus den letzten Jahren zeigt. Alle Berlin Anwesenden haben sich somit am Donnerstag zusammengefunden und ein berauschendes Fest gefeiert.
Ein großes Dankeschön an die Ladies hiermit nochmal!

We’re confident that we’ll not loose any single one of you if we give ourselves a month to chill & enjoy this beautiful summer away from daily news, emails, phones & responsibilities. We’re going to be cruising Berlin, Bangkok, a remote island & Ibiza and will maybe give you a glimpse of that too!
