JR has given courageous and strong women from around the globe the attention they deserve. In combination with his work, he has now put a short film together, to show his large-scale installations in Paris which he presented in Autumn 2009. The full movie will be in cinemas this year! We support the subject and awareness, loving the art and effort that he puts into it. The name of the project says it all- “Women are Heroes”!

It’s on again! The Festival of Colors, also known as Holi, is held in India, each year on the first full moon in March. Its time to celebrate the triumph of “good” over “bad”, to renew sweet relationships, to come together and to welcome spring!
Considered to be one of the oldest rituals, celebrations begin in the night with a large bonfire, and go into the next day, when people play and shower themselves with colour powder and water. It looks beautiful and we say: Happy Holi!

The ‘Birds Eye View’ festival, founded in 2002, launched the UK´s first major women´s film festival back in 2005. Promoting & celebrating filmmakers, they can count themselves in as the only festival exclusively dedicated to female directors.
The 6th annual BEV Film Festival, will be held from the 4th-12th of March. 8 days, Not only packed with international films and shorts from all over the world, but also full of special guests, performances, concerts, open screening and master class teaching programmes to be up to date to the cutting edge of new technologies. While only 7% of the world’s directors are women, we really love the way they support the work of these female creative minds. The entire organisation is of course also a woman’s world- from the CEO to the Administrator, making this is a real Venus temple!

Sie zeigen in ihrem Plakat sowohl die Sonnenseite, wie aber auch die Schattenseite, die jede größere Stadt zu bieten hat. Es geht um Gut und Böse, um Hässlichkeit…aber immer… mit sehr viel “amor”!

One of the most up-to-date designers of the moment, Raf Simons, has shed new light on basics. The Casting. Once a boring thing to go to, and something with rather “cheap” looking results, is now just another piece of art, nearly as much as fashion and the shows themselves.
The cutting edge brand has worked together with Pierre Debusschere on a fantastic visual piece, a casting video for AW 2010, playing with strange looks, artistic expressions and shadows for a top of the notch innovation. Art is infinite and we love it!

Morgen/Tomorrow!!
Das fünfte Keinemusik-Release ist bald draußen. Das bedeutet: es gibt endlich wieder eine Release-Party. Aber! Da es ein ganz besonderes Release ist – besonders, weil sämtliche Keinemusik-Producer einen Track beigesteuert haben und weil das Artwork so toll ist, dass sie auch noch eine Sonderedition der Auflage inkl. T-Shirt und Totebag herausbringen – gibt es nicht nur eine Release-Party, sondern zwei. Um 19 Uhr gehts los im Civilist. Geselliges Warm-up mit Freibeck’s und Freisnacks und Frei… ähm… zügigkeit. Wenn dann alle langsam in Fahrt kommen, wird gewechselt vom Store ins Cookies ab 23 Uhr und gefeiert wird dann mit &ME, Rampa, Adam Port, David Mayer, Reznik und Ignant.
