Shoe The Bear is an upcoming Danish unisex sneaker brand, which invites different artists each season to develop a line for their dynamic and urban footwear. The current Spring Summer 2010 collection was made in collaboration with the Iranian artist Saeed Fadavi, featuring violet suede, denims and skilled artworks from the Denmark based artist. The success of Shoe The Bear is about to boom, being nominated at the DANSK Fashion Awards as Best Danish Accessory Designer of the Year! The winners are chosen by the public and votes on the web. Olivia Grace Bolles aka Olivia Bee is 15 and comes from Portland, USA. The likes to keep a photography diary to document all the adventures she experience in her teen life, to hold all the memories she might loose along the way. Apart from shooting campaigns for Nike or Converse (she is also participating at the Converse/ Dazed 2010 Emerging Artists Award), her interest lies in capturing her friends, family and anyone who his around her. Olivia Bee shows us a powerful and frank glimpse into her youthful refreshing life, using the camera for words she cannot write down. We are once again amazed by the amazing talents around and hope we see more of Miss Bee for a long long time!

Gestern abend hieß es in XBerg: Berlin gegen Birmingham. Wie bereits vor einiger Zeit angekündigt hat gestern das Battle Secret Wars statt gefunden. 90 min hatten die Künstler Zeit zu malen und es war ein spannender Kampf. Berlin hat ne Ansage gemacht und Birmingham hat reagiert. Die Jury hat 1:1 gestimmt, das Publikum hat die dirtte entscheidene Stimme abgegeben und BERLIN hat natürlich gewonnen!! Michael Kutsche, Conceptual Artist, Illustrator, 3D Artist und Fine Artist, ist Deutscher und lebt inzwischen vorübergehend in L.A. Er selber bezeichnet sich als kompletten Autodidakt, hat nie eine Kunstschule besucht oder ähnliches. Er hat vor Tim Burtons “Alice in Wonderland” meist für Computerspiele gezeichnet, doch dieses Mal war es tatsächlich eine richtige Herausforderung, denn wie er der L.A. Times im Interview erzählt, hat er eines Tages eine Email von den Sony Studios bekommen, die ihm ein Angebot gemacht haben. Er wusste zunächst nicht um welchen Film es sich handelt und erzählt uns im Interview, wie er in den ganzen kreativen Prozess immer mehr eintauchen durfte und wie es war  mit Tim Burton zu arbeite. Natürlich stehen jetzt bereits die nächsten Angebote vor der Tür, nach so einer riesen Sause. eVe findet die gruseligen Figuren zum fürchten gut!

Secret Wars is the World’s first live art battle, where amazing upcoming artists show their creativity at its best, combating in front of a very open minded audience- simple but extremely cool. The project began in 2006 being pretty small, but after 3 and a half years of hard work (and many many battles all over the world) founder Terry Guy and his team are bringing the unique competition to another level: 16 European locations, 4 groups, 2 Teams, 90 minutes, 2 pieces of art and 1 winner- The Secret Wars Euro League!

Based on a very strong networking and community focus, Secret Wars is on a global mission to turn live art into a recognised spot- by adding new cities, locations and dead-end roads where on big white walls, the artists can prove their talents solely with black markers. Next to cities within the league like London, Paris, Copenhagen, Barcelona and Amsterdam, Secret Wars are hitting Berlin on March 28th! To be frank we beg you come to the St. Georg Club in Kreuzberg on a hopefully sunny Sunday at 5PM, be inspired, have fun, interact, learn and dance to tunes from DJ’ane THAT FUCKING SARA. We absolutely cant wait, see you there!

Since February thousands of party masters were battling to win the cool prize of Smirnoff Experience Berlin: to design your own perfect party, including your ideal location and DJ’s, all worth 150.000€! Some of the eVerettes such as Youthletter and M³Blogga were part of the project but were not as lucky as the mighty winner Jasna from Frankfurt (congratulations to her!). She will host the Smirnoff Experience Berlin sponsored party on April 23^rd in Berlin´s E-Werk featuring Simian Mobile Disco, WhoMadeWho, Boy 8-Bit and The C90´s.
