Jeff Koons kuratiert gerade zum ersten Mal im New Museum of Contemporary Art in New York. Die einzelnen Objekte stammen alle aus der Kunstsammlung von Dakis Joannou. Der Titel der Ausstellung verrät viel; Körper und Objekte werden gezeigt, es geht im Hülle und es geht im Inhalt, was sehen wir und wie konsumieren wir das Gesehene. Im folgenden Interview, geht Jeff Koons etwas detaillierter auf einige der Stücke ein. Seit 1992 fotografiert und filmt Spencer Tunick nackte Menschen in der Öffentlichkeit. Das Besondere an seinen Installationen, sind die Massen an Menschen, die er bewegt, um vor seine Kamera zu treten. Am Montag wurde er zum Mardi Gras, Schwulen- und Lesbenfestival eingeladen.”The Base” hat er seine Installation genannt. Über 5000 Menschen sind zum Opernhaus in Sydney gekommen und haben blank gezogen.

Lady Dior is premiering their second part of their Lady Rouge video colab with Marion Cotillard and Franz Ferdinand today, before the Dior show in Paris. The Award winning actress is front woman, performing the Franz Ferdinand song “The Eyes of Mars”, mixing up Moulin Rouge wonderlands with a straight forward sexy masculinity.  The stylish music video was directed by one of Madonna’s favourite director Jonas Akerlund. potipoti´s new collection for this spring-summer is named THE HUMAN BODY RIVER. For designers Silvia Salvador and Nando Cornejo, the river was a form of a life methaphor.

We really like the mix of the collection, all based on blues, greys, greens and pastels. With the possiblity to combine their basics which are all made of natural and pure materials, with leathers, chains and metals, there is a certain subtle creativity left open to the individual taste.

Last but not least, potipoti has enlarged their collection designing fabrics for women & men shoes, in collaboration with Spanish shoe label KTW Shoes Espandrillos!

Papergirl has come up with very cool idea: Randomly delivering art! Cruising through Berlin with an army of honking bicycles, they give out their art on the streets. Rolled up in an American newspaper way, like we know from the movies, locals can enjoy their unique pieces of illustrations and designs.
