“Gudrun Kemsa und Studierende” is the next exhibition starting on Friday, March 12th at Galerie Schuster in Berlin. The great photographer and video artist, will not only show her own work, like“Choreographien”, but is also featuring the work of 7 of her students coming from Hochschule Niederrhein in Krefeld, where she regularly teaches photography. The students have focused on social and cultural themes, portraying them in separate photographic series. Among them we can find our friends Nicola Tauscher and Ajdin Pajevic, which will show their view on the stereotypes of the party world. The fakeness of the artificial surroundings, where people put on masks to survive, takes up the main role of their series.
Check out the vernissage on March 12th, from 6-9PM @ Galerie Schuster, Berlin, and see some of the work after the click! Read more »

This hotel makes us want to be tourists in the city we live in!
We could list thousands of things why! From their website, the pictures they use and the way they talk on it; to the actual design of all areas of the hotel, let it be the 5 different types of room with their own decoration, or the hanging out places with a restaurant & bar with live bands; up to the little stories they made up about every crew member- they seem the friendliest hosting geniuses ever!
We have never spent a night, but we are sure, you definetly should!

Our friends from liveDEMO are hosting Jay Electronica, live, tomorrow at Tube Station, Berlin!
Jay Electronica is one of the most exciting, fastest-rising talents in hip-hop. The rapper and producer – who’s been compared to Nas in his Illmatic prime – provides an exhilarating blast of fresh air in a world suffocating under bubblegum rap and lightweight hip-pop. Described by Jay-Z as “incredible”, his growing army of fans already includes Mos Def, Erykah Badu, P Diddy and The Roots.
Born in the Magnolia projects of New Orleans, Jay Electronica now lives in New York.
A full Jay Electronica debut LP is planned for later this year. In the meantime, interested listeners and readers should seek out the unofficial Victory mixtape for a blistering album-length showcase of Jay’s electrifying potential, or head down to support him at liveDEMO’s gathering tommorrow!
Tuesday, February 23rd, 21h
